NNHRT Conference Objectives


 Increase opportunities for AI/AN students, researchers, and health professionals through sessions and trainings and dissemination of biomedical, clinical, behavioral and health science research responsive to the needs of the AI/AN community.


Enhance Tribal-academic collaborations and improve the ability of Tribes to utilize research findings.

Traditional Knowledge

 Improve health disparities by employing Traditional Indian Medicine, Indigenous Knowledge, Environmental Health, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge to reduce risk factors to improve health outcomes among AI/AN people
